With the massive increase in energy bills, you would think that our electricity would be pretty reliable. On rare occasions, it might go down especially with bad weather. The thing is, when it comes to Crossakiel village, we seem to get the brunt of power outages and in a lot of cases, there is no reasons for them. Take for example what happen today (22/09/2022), at 5.14am this morning, the power went down and came back up after about 3/4 minutes. This seems to be a regular occurence in the village and it causes havoc with technology.

The potential power surge of the supply coming back on could potentially damage your technology and who is liable? I'm pretty sure ESB Networks would not accept responsibility. So an official complaint has been put in regarding these, all to regular, power outages. The call has been logged so all updates will be on this page.

UPDATE 26/09/2022: THe ESB called back and confirmed that the amount of outages for Crossakiel was far too many and said that they examined the line and removed a number of tree branches that where the cause of the failures. We hope that this solves the issues for the future but ESB have said that we must log all faults so they can access and fix any issues.
