| A Magnificent Opening Night At Clonbreany House |

29th of July 2009: Clonabreany House, a beautifully restored wedding venue situated near Crossakiel Co. Meath, officially opened its doors to over 300 guests on Thursday 23rd of July 2009. The launch event which was organised by Valerie and Gary Keating of GK Events and PR and hosted by owners Niall Daly and Peter Mahon, was attended by local residents, representatives from the tourist industry, Meath County Council, Kells and Oldcastle Chamber of Commerce and interested brides to be!! Guests included: Johnny Brady TD and John Farrelly, Head of Meath Tourism. All guests toured the venue visiting the charming georgian courtyard houses, the traditional Sibín bar, the luxurious honeymoon suite, The Diamor bar and the grand marquee which looked spectacular after being dressed by Front of House Manager Lorna Murphy and Sharon Griffin of Frog Prince Weddings. The opening of Clonabreany was celebrated with champagne and exquisite canapés all made with the very best of local produce and prepared by resident chef Gerry Meade. Two stunning models walked through the venue showcasing a beautiful selection of wedding attire from The Bridal Loft in Cootehill all to the sound of The Slovak Quartet. Guests celebrated late into the night in the cosy Sibín Bar and enjoyed traditional music by Táin Céili band and folk and blues guitar by the celebrated Andrew Sheridan. This unique historic property is surrounded by breathtaking countryside and is now positioned to lead the way as one of Irelands’ most desirable wedding venues. The first wedding at Clonabreany House will take place on August 6th 2009.
