Crossakiel Amateur Radio Club

On Sunday 16th of August “Crossakiel Amateur Radio Association” (C.A.R.A.) held it’s first club event on the village green, Crossakiel. The club setup two thirty foot masts to cover the HF bands and also VHF and UHF bands. Both weather and singal strength on the day were poor, despite this, a good day was had by all. Their "Shack" on the day was a caravan and food was provided via a barbacue (for the brave and hungry). C.A.R.A. would like to thank all the stations that called in on the day, for their contacts and good wishes.
