The Kells Road Race took place over the weekend (18th July to 20th July) and fun was had by all. See the pictures below.

I would like to apologise to the local residents and to people who regularly visit our website for the lack of paddock photos available. We had intended to take more photos but we were told by security that only mechanics and riders are allowed in the paddock (this is the same man who let me in initially as I had a flourscent yellow coat on, I'm a local resident and obviously wished to take photos for the Crossakiel website to share with the local residents and website visitors).

So how did this security man suddenly know me from everyone else to inform me that I wasn't allowed in the paddock? "Elementary my dear Watson I hear you cry!", could it be possible that someone recognised me and gestured to the security man that I shouldn't be there? Surely if this was the case this person would have know that I normally take photos for the local website so the local residents and regular website visitors would be able to see behind the scenes?

Well, I'm no detective so I'll leave this up to a friend of mine who is an x-gardai!
